Looking at her zanpakuto she smirked, “Why won’t you talk to me again?” she said hoping her zanpakuto would decide to manifest right here and now before the shinigami. Come to think of it she was quite behind with zanpakuto communication; all her brothers by this time were able to. Although she is a rookie nobles had higher spiritual pressure than your regular shinigami and should be able to do those things easily, this problem was worrying her, what if she wasn’t born a noble. The office was all vacant late at this time of a day, the sun was about to set leaving Soul Society in the dark, she was sitting there finishing today’s report. “Urgh….” Aya finally closed the booklet and placed it neatly on the table in an orderly manner, it is just a few days since she got promoted to a seated officer. New rank brought new responsibilities; the best thing about this was she was assigned a swimming pool to take care of.
You might be wondering what was inside the report? Well just a simple day at a pool which turned out into a battlefield thanks to some squad 11 members. Those runts came in to a place of fun and relaxation to disturb the already wasted/tired shinigami of various squads. They came in boasting nobody could beat them and how invincible they were and then started to pick on random shinigami. As the chief of this pool she was required to step in. First she asked them nicely to back off from what they were doing and get into the sauna she would prepare for them although that didn’t work out, two of them started to threaten her and so she let them taste the raging spiritual pressure of a noble released all at once.
Those from squad 11 were wimps of some sorts, she even wondered if they really were from the battle squad; the spiritual pressure caught them off balance making it easier to pacify them using the blunt side of her zanpakuto. The next thing they knew they were sitting in the sauna she prepared all chained up, sauna is good especially when people are tired from all those battles, she hoped they appreciate it.
So now was time to close up the pool and let those squad 11 members go after 5 hours inside her super hot sauna. Aya opened the door and immediately steam leaked outside, it was too foggy to see anything at first but then it got clearer and a three shinigami appeared all half naked, only a towel covered their manhood. “Oi!! Get up already.” She quickly unchained them and then kicked each one on the back and reminded them to get a move on or they shall get treated to something much worse next time they came in. All of them moaned but knew their place and so they were out real quick, speechless too, that’s how she liked it. “Thank you for coming, we look forward to seeing you next time.” she said with a smile. After all, squad 13 liked their customers and welcomed them to their facilities. Aya closed every door and headed home, towards her mansion.
Seiretei was great, it was a place reserved for the Gotei 13 members and Nobles, the streets were nicely kept by squad 4 and the shops were well stocked, there was no shortage of anything really and even hollow attacks were minimal if not any at all. Outside of Seiretei was Rukongai, the poorest part of Soul Society and that’s where all souls travel when they receive soul burial. Rukongai was the most interesting place she could though of now except for the living world. So far, the noble wasn’t sent on any patrol missions to the Rukongai which is a shame, therefore this time she decided to have just a short peek.
Aya took the other way branching from the one leading towards her mansion. Rukongai was near, just behind the high wall, Aya knocked on the big door, the only one. Soon some sound could be heard from the other side and a window in the door opened up, a dark shinigami face showed up, it looked like he just woke up. Sleeping during guard duty heh, that’s what she though. “Yeah?” the man said in a bored voice. “Open up, I’ll take only a few.” the door made a cracking sound then it sprung opened and Aya walked passed it into Rukongai.
The girl would look around at the cool day in the soul society. It was calmer now, the kind of serene that Kuroi just loved. The action of the day managed to wear her down sometimes. She had a goal in mind though, to impress those of her squad. She wanted to be seated, the sense of responsibility and power that came from it. She was standing near a tree, her back resting upon it. That was when a shinigami walked through from the Seiretei, into the Rukongai district. Kuroi was in her of her own accord, watching the people move about on their daily errands.
Kuroi would begin to walk towards the other, curiosity gleaming in her eyes. She had seen this woman before, but where? She knew for certain that she was a noble; she could always easily tell such things by their posture for one. She paused for a moment, wondering whether or not to approached this lady. She decided that no harm could come from it and decided to do so. Her eyes wandered upon the body of the lady. She was pretty, Kuroi could say that for one. Kuroi would brush her bangs from her eyes and continue walking towards the other.
"Ay. Wait up. I saw you walking from the Seiretei and was wondering why would were wandering about here. Not to be nosy, but things get boring around here. I was hoping that I would have someone to speak to." Kuroi would have her way of becoming overly happy and sometimes saying things that she probably shouldn't have. Words came out of her mouth quickly as she watched the lady. She would bite her lip, her nervousness showing as when she always had gotten around the nobles. Somewhere nearby, the shriek of a hollow raged.
Well well, as soon as she stepped outside to Rukongai she sensed another soul reaper nearby. The soul reaper was a girl with darker brown hair color, with tints of purple within it. It fell down slightly past her shoulders in a spiky type manner, her bangs covered her eye and it was hard to see into them. She looked young but she could be older than herself, you never know with shinigami. The girl looked like she was walking towards her, she brushed her bangs to one side uncovering her purple eyes, they looked like the tints on her hair. "Ay. Wait up. I saw you walking from the Seiretei and was wondering why would were wandering about here. Not to be nosy, but things get boring around here. I was hoping that I would have someone to speak to." the shinigami said when she approached Aya.
The girls speech was a bit odd, so casual but no matter, this was a good timing, she looked a bit nervous for a soul reaper. "Well, I am here for a tour. Maybe you could show me around these parts? Oh I am.." the opportunity was opened, she had a guide who was probably more used to these parts than her, she hoped. Before she could finish her introduction something appeared from afar, some strange spiritual pressure, she focused and sensed they were hollow and not just one but many. A hollow made a screeching noise somewhere, Aya would look at the other shinigami who registered this as well. "No time, lets go." she said before speeding towards those reiatsu she felt.
On the way, they would encounter panicking Rukon residents running away, some fell on the ground and were stepped on by others behind them, it was a bad scene. Aya came to a person who almost got squished by a crowd and got him away "Be careful next time. Have you seen how many hollows there are?" getting intel before going into the battle was always a good thing, she learnt that from her captain right at inauguration. The man would inform both of them about 6 smaller hollows and 2 bigger ones who seemed to be bossing those 6 around. They were closer and closer, she could clearly sense that and so drew her zanpakuto.
Finally both of them arrived to the crime scene, two small huts were torn apart by the hollows already and they were moving towards a third one, they even witnessed one of those big hollows eat a soul but couldn't do anything about it, it was too late. Those 6 smaller hollows looked like frogs though much bigger, approximately 3 m tall and wide and looked like they would be pretty fast. Then there were their bosses, it looked like they were Adjuchas or at their level. This is the second time she would encounter something this strong. "Be careful, those two are powerful." Aya warned her companion, after all she didn't know how strong the other person was so caution was always good.
One Adjuchas with purple body screeched and all six frog like hollows moved towards them, they were fast after all, unfortunately for them Aya was much faster. The other green body Adjuchas just stood there watching. The group split into three and three to attack both shinigami separately. Two hollows came from sides and the other jumped, this was really nothing she thought and used a quick shunpo upwards to punch the hollow, her punch hit it sending the beast flying into the distance, then she performed a round kick hitting both hollows coming from the sides and also sending them flying. Soon enough the unharmed hollows would appear once again before the shinigami, she clearly underestimated them. Their masters were eagerly watching how the match would unfold.
OOC: Just RP other 3 hollows that are attacking you. They should be rank 2 speed/hand spec. The Adjuchas are rank 4 weapon masters.
Kuroi listened as the girl spoke. "Well, I am here for a tour. Maybe you could show me around these parts? Oh I am.." Kuroi would tilt her head to the side, her mouth began to open before the spiritual pressure of the hollows and their screeches became more apparent. This was a situation they would both most likely have to take care of and the slightest bubble of excitement would come to her mind. If this was a difficult fight, it could work against or for her. She didn't want to be devoured by this hollow, but she couldn't let it attack the Rukongai district either. She smirked at the thought of possible pride at the conclusion of a battle.
She would follow close behind the girl whose name she had not yet managed to catch. She managed a smile before they ran off, towards the pressure of the hollow. Two soul reapers, in the right place at the right time. Things were working in her favor slightly, in a way that meant more to kill. The would mean she would have a better chance of impressing those of her squad and finally getting seated. Once they found the hollows, she opened her mouth slightly. The truth was, she had never seen much of hollows, and these damn things looked like they were pretty strong. She'd have to be able to handle things to get seated; and besides, she had a noble with her. She was indeed curious though how this would all play out.
She examined the hollows as she advanced towards them, stopping a few meters away from them. Frog-like creatures they were, with two bosses. Three of them came to her direction and she quickly pulled her zanpakuto from its sheath. She wielded it with slight grace, the girl was trying to master this and she had a bit of practice with it previously. One of the hollows would advance towards her and she flung herself to the side, dodging it. She let her zanpakuto in her hand be ready though; she would slash it out, getting the side of the hollow. This seemed to only enrage it though as she flung herself up into the air, behind the hollow. She would bring her sword down upon it's back, just barely making it as it went off. That was close.. she would think to herself. Suddenly, a noise alerted her, it came from behind her. She would turn her head around, just in time to see another hollow coming at her from behind.
"Shit." she would murmur as she once again flung to the side, only a few meters away from the other shinigami that was fighting along side her. She looked towards her leg, and saw the slightest injury upon it. These hollows were damn fast and she wasn't exactly a speed expert.
While fighting those little hollows, she couldn't not notice the other shinigami had slight problems. "Trust in yourself." she said to her, encouraging the shinigami who was hurt by one of the hollows raid. The hollows attacking her began another wave again, this time they went in more cautiously but same strategy. Two would come from the sides and one on top but now a hollow used a sonido to get on her left side to slash its claws at her. Luckily even sonido was seen through as she was used to much faster movements herself, the hollows attack was blocked by her zanpakuto. Immediately after its attack a top hollow appeared above her slashing its claws at her as well but again its speed was same as its colleges so she rolled on her shoulder forward passing the top hollow. But then the last one appeared on her right side when she was still rolling and it managed to give her a wound on her hips using its claw slash attack which seemed to be identical to the other twos.
The roll ended and Aya was up again checking her wound, it wasn't anything serious that would put her out of a fight. Both Adjuchas were still watching like this was some kind of a movie for them, she wondered when they would step in, so far they waited until their minions would tire both shinigami then they would be an easy prey. Aya decided to give these hollows a little lesson, she readied her zanpakuto and used shunpo on the top hollow who wasn't expecting such a quick response and the sword hit it straight in the mask crushing it like it was butter, this made the Adjuchas a little more excited. Right as she attacked, both hollows did so again just using their claws, a slash after slash but they were all blocked using her zanpakuto. Aya kicked one of the hollows sending it at the Adjuchas location but the green one would easily slice it up in half with its claws. Two down and one to go, she didn't have time to check up on her companion, she hoped the girl would be alright.
The remaining hollow was now just in front of her, it would screech like hell, maybe it mourned the loss of its comrades but that wouldn't be possible, hollows were mindless beasts at this stage, surely they couldn't feel any of these emotions except cowardice which was the only thing most hollows were capable of. Ayas hands held tightly her zanpakuto, it was still in an unreleased state for it needn't be released just to kill these weaklings. She stood there waiting for it to attack but nothing came for a while, the hollow was definitely up to something. Something red formed in front of its mouth, it was red and certainly a cero. Suddenly it shot forward right at Aya who decided not to dodge but rather slash her zanpakuto at that cero. Both Adjuchas would open their mouths wide as they saw the shinigami cut cero in half with just an unreleased zanpakuto.
As she cut the cero, she also moved forward to counter-attack. With a quick shunpo her left hand that was free would grab an unsuspecting hollow by its head and then moved her zanpakuto to cut its neck in half killing the hollow with ease. Now there were only Adjuchas to take care of, Aya would now have time to see how the other shinigami was doing, hopefully she wasn't dead yet or she would be at a disadvantage against Adjuchas who were now smiling at their direction.
Kuroi would look towards the other shinigami as she spoke to her. "Trust in yourself." she had said to Kuroi. The girl would grip her zanpakuto and decided she couldn't give up this early in the game. She smirked as she proceeded after the hollow that she had damaged previously. It would come towards her, it's movements quite swift. She would quickly move out of it's way as it came towards her, jumping up right before it came right to her. She was not any master of fighting with bare fists and legs. She would land a kick to its side as it slowed down near her. Quickly she held her zanpakuto with both hands and sliced down quickly at the already injured hollow, beheading it. She smirked at this, happy to finally have done something.
She would look at the other two hollows that stared her down. She had not helped noticing that the other shinigami had finished her hollows and only remained with the larger ones. Kuroi could worry about her two hollows that advanced towards her. The other shinigami had killed through the smaller hollows with ease and Kuroi had no doubt in her mind that she could definitely deal with the larger ones if they were to attack. Kuroi didn't think they would attack yet, as they still had their other minions on the battle field. They could, and if they did, she may have to jump in and help the other. Hopefully though, they would not.
Kuroi proceeded to concentrate on the other two in front of her. She would stand her ground as one more hollow came towards her, it's little 'friend' behind it a little. Only one came at her; it was as if the other were watching to see how this would play out. Kuroi would smirk; if they wanted a show, they would get one. They were not going to get away from her, she couldn't let them. It advanced quicker towards her and she knew if she didn't move fast it would get her. She would jump to the side, just making it before the hollow could do any big damage. Her other ankle was slightly hurt, but nothing life threatening. Kuroi could live with it; she tried her hardest to be as strong as everyone else. The hollow would advance towards her once more, and she would make sure that her line of vision could keep the other one in sight as well. The other one seemed to step forward a bit but retracted its step. It rather watch its brother fight was her first guess. Not that hollows cared much about death of others.
She watched the other come towards her, she would jump in the air as it come towards her, bringing her feet up faster so they wouldn't get grazed. She would bring her zanpakuto down on it as it came towards her. One hit, one more possibly could bring this damn thing down. She landed on her feet once the hollow had proceeded away from her. She smirked at it, as it's never-ending grin seemed to watch her in return. She decided to take the move this time. She would run towards it, her zanpakuto slightly raised, gripped tight in her hands. She would come down to it, closer than ever, and it went for her. Holding her zanpakuto in front of her, she managed to stab through the hollow, slicing downwards. Only one left now.
Masami was taking what she supposed may have been a shortcut. She looked about herself. This was not right. She looked again. This was definitely not right, and on second glance; this was also not the right place to get lost in either. She was already getting a few looks. Apparently it was obvious to even the drunks that she was lost. Even if she was a shinigami she wasn’t exactly fear-provoking in appearance. She would just have to push forward and hope it worked out.
Five minutes later and it very clearly was not working out. She looked about herself. She was certain she had come this way before. ‘Gah! Where did I go wrong?!’ she whined silently to herself. She was about to slump onto the ground and just feel sorry for herself a little while when she felt something strange. It was enough to change her mood from whiny to alert at the very least. Her abilities were not a tuned as they could have been, but moments later she heard something too. Duty called it seemed. Masking her reiatsu as best she was able she quickly and quietly headed directly towards the disturbance.
Soon she was having to weave in and out of a panicked horde of people; a difficult task for the short shinigami. She ended up having to leap onto a roof to avoid being swept away entirely. But there was no time to think about it. There was likely a patrol active, even in a place as rough as this. For now it would be her duty to offer him or her, her full support. Continue via rooftop as subtlety as she was able.
When she finally came into sight she found there to be multiple hollows. Perhaps it was fate that got her lost? She counted 8 hollows. Six of them were basic hollows, nothing overly much to be concerned with. But the other two were strong. Their spiritual pressure was certain above her own, beyond that she couldn’t be certain of the difference. However, there were two shinigami present, not just one. They were already engaged with the 6 weaker hollows, which bore a strong similarity to one another, a fact which bothered Masami a little. Hollows rarely looked the same; if they did it was often an ability of sorts. Still, if it was it wasn’t being displayed now.
Noticing that the two stronger hollows seemed lazy, content to let the small fry wear the shinigami down Masami decided to put into effect the rule of the second division. She would strike silently from behind. Dropping low and moving behind the building she was sure to keep her reiatsu as small as she was able. She had faith her allies would be able to defeat the smaller hollow, it was a much better idea to plan everything for these more powerful hollow. And so long as they did not know of her present, she held a powerful advantage.
As she moved around the final building she could see the purple hollow, with his back to her. Evidently still enjoying the entertainment of watching his allies get hacked to bits. She steeled herself and drew her zanpakuto. She bolted forward with a shunpo, instantly releasing the concealment of her reiatsu. She appeared in the air behind him, aiming a slash for his trapezius muscle, that would be sure to disable him if only a limb. But he was fast to respond. Moving suddenly forward, she barely nicked him. She landed where he previously stood, with him now focused on her. To her left the green hollow turned his head slightly to eye her. Now she was in a decidedly strong disadvantage. She gripped her sword. She knew she would have to be ready for anything if she expected to survive this.
((OoC: Alright, I’ll react to what you guys do. Did you have any powers in mind or shall I make something up if you don’t beat me to it? =) ))
During the fight, she couldn't ignore the reiatsu she sensed though she wasn't sure if the Adjuchas could or not but she hoped they wouldn't. Her college was fighting well against those little ones, only one last remained which Aya would help the girl dispatch. She dashed at the hollow from the side bringing her zanpakuto up then dropping it on its mask which was easily broken. As she was performing the dash the reiatsu she sensed earlier spiked up as another female shinigami appeared behind the purple Adjuchas trying to hurt him but to no avail, it knew where and what was coming and was able to block the attack.
The other green Adjuchas was now facing the girl with something red at its mouth. Now that they were finished with the minions Aya rushed with shunpo towards the green hollow to interrupt its cero. She appeared on its right side with a kick at its face which ultimately missed but succeeded in stopping the hollows cero then landed in front of the hollow who frowned in disgust. It didn't like that attack at all but even if it shot a cero it would definitely miss and would become a waste of energy.
The green Adjuchas would stumble back and managed to not fall from dodging her attack, it jumped up in the air then got further away where it grinned "Heh! You failed shinigami, come get a lesson.". Obviously that was just a bait however she had no choice, those two other shinigami could take care of the other one. Aya would follow the beast up to the sky where their battlefield would be, she wouldn't speak with the beast as there was no way it would retreat or go back without eating shinigami souls. It laughed when she was leveled with it, almost immediately turned its body behind then disappeared into the air, next thing it showed several meters behind its old location. So it was quick too however she could still read its movements, this must mean speed wasn't its specialty or maybe it just pretended to be only this slow.
There was no time to wait around, Aya sped towards the hollow who began to form another cero to shoot at her. She gripped her zanpakuto and met the cero with her blade but what was it, the cero was strong and was able to stop her movements towards the hollow who was preparing another cero to shoot. The current cero would push her back a few meters after its power dissipated into the air then another cero was sent her way which she blocked using the same method further pushing the shinigami back. "Haha! Take that." the hollow would be very happy and entertained by the result of its cero then sent another one towards the shinigami. Who wouldn't make the same mistake again and let it push her back giving it an advantage in this battle.
Aya used a shunpo to appear on the right, then on the left then the middle, such quick movements left the hollow clueless and the cero without its target though it fell on the ground bellow destroying another house. One would think hollows of this caliber were detected by the shinigami squads or patrols faster and they would be swarming those hollows by now but it was only the three of them still. The green hollow kept shooting cero at the shinigami who would not be hit due to her mastery in speed, she would shunpo at the right side of the hollow and slash at its arms but each time the hollow somehow managed to block it getting away with just a small scratch. "Damn you shinigami! I will teach you to fear me." it shouted in anger from getting a scratch. Both were now facing each other with an approximate distance of 20 m, something was happening within the hollow, she could feel the change.
The hollow growled once and then its spiritual pressure spiked, it was overwhelming and definitely at a dangerous level. What did this mean? Was it only just holding back its power? She was standing there for a while thinking about it that she almost missed it, the hollow appeared 5 m behind and above her pointing a finger at her back, two big red balls which were much bigger than your normal cero were forming right there and then they blasted at her, the only thing she managed to do was put her zanpakuto between those two ceros and her body. Both ceros would hit her zanpakuto pushing her back and down at an incredible speed until she smashed into the building. The pain was really intense but somehow she managed to survive, she was probably very lucky. Those ceros were no joke, if they hit her with full force than that would be the end. The green Adjuchas was now laughing at its victory, at least it thought the ceros did the trick though it would soon stop realizing she was still alive.
Kuroi would glance around at her surroundings. She had a kido in mind that she could use against this little bastard, but she had to make sure the other shinigami, the one who failed to attack the larger hollow, was out of range. She planned on using a technique to blind the damn thing. It would not last forever and if she could get the range of the other hollow as well, it could help the single shinigami fighting it. It would be hard to get both in range so she decided that she better let a noble fight alone. Kuroi was sure the girl would be able to handle herself. If she needed help after Kuroi and this other girl who attempted to attack previously defeated this guy, they could go after that other hollow together. She had to hold up and stay alive until then and Kuroi had no doubts in her mind about her.
Kuroi would spot the location of the other shinigami, finding her quickly and swiftly. She knew that the hollow was distracted with her and she would have to get her out of the way of it as to not be injured. She was no speed expert, so her shunpo usage was limited. The fact was though, she hadn't used one yet and seeing as these guys were faster than her it might be a good time to put it into action. Using her shunpo, she would make her way towards the other shinigami. She did not yet know the name of this girl, but she would well figure it out later. She would find herself behind the other shinigami and a quick tap on the shoulder would take her to speaking to the other. "Hey girl, I have a plan in mind. I am going to do something and you must back off a few meters for me to actually be able to perform it. I do not want you caught in it, as it may cause not to good effects on you. Just back off until I cast this, then once I work my magic you can join in. Sound good?" she would murmur, just loud enough for the other girl to hear. She smirked at the thought in her mind of what she would do to this damn hollow. She could defeat it easily if she played her cards correctly. The smile remained on her face as she backed up slightly, preparing to attack once more.
She would run straight forward towards the bastard, her zanpakuto drawn, ready to strike. This may not have any effect but she needed to at least try to injure him. She would bring herself forward, no longer within line of vision of the other girl. Once she reached the hollow, her zanpakuto blade was drawn straight forward. She was expecting for it to fling her off to the side and she was prepared. As long as she kept her body in a good stance she should not be too seriously injured. She jumped upwards once in range and swung her zanpakuto out at the monster. As expected, it whipped out a long arm, in an attempt to fling her. She would slash with her zanpakuto, managing to cut the bastard before she completely flung backwards. The lack of air walking allowed her to be able to land herself onto the ground with a large thump and to slightly slow her self down before crashing into a building. She steadied her breathing as she watched the bastard stare her down. "Did you really think that could harm me. You, my friend, managed to cut me, but not defeat me. Try harder." the purple Adjuchas would try to intimidate her but Kuroi was not falling for anything. She was prepared for this moment. "I may not have defeated you, but listen right here. I am just getting my ass started on you." she would say, trying to sound as equally intimidating. Now, as long as the other girl moved out of her way, she could cast her kido. She smirked at the very thought of it.
Masami held her ground, keeping her sword raised and her focus in tune, waiting for the hollows to make their move. Fortunately one of her allies made a move first, attacking the green hollow. She kept a check on the purple, but saw that the green one would be perfectly distracted. She then diverted all her attention to the purple hollow. As soon as she had done so the other shinigami had appeared beside her. Her first thought was one of annoyance. Coming together like so completely negated their advantage of two on one. Plus she had secretly been hoping they might take the green one together. Fighting a hollow of this level would certainly be an interesting display of her abilities.
”Hey girl, I have a plan in mind. I am going to do something and you must back off a few meters for me to actually be able to perform it. I do not want you caught in it, as it may cause not to good effects on you. Just back off until I cast this, then once I work my magic you can join in. Sound good?”
‘Girl?’ She repeated in her mind venomously. She subconsciously realised it was not meant the way it sounded, but that didn’t stop her eyes cooling over in her controlled rage. Masami was a proud soul. Even if she was not as much as her kin, she still abhorred sharing. When it came to hollows it was life and death, and she could not reason letting someone die for her feelings and her own personal honour. She did not belong to the eleventh squad. However this shinigami had made it known that she had plans. So she reasoned this time she could step aside, if only to see if the shinigami could manage the monster.
“He’s all yours” was all she uttered in a response before back flipping onto the house behind her. She landed gracefully, sheathing her weapon for the present time. She would let the hollow know it had no reason to suspect her, much like when its minion had been attacking the shinigami. If she saw a chance go to waste she would shunpo in and finish the creature. But until such a time she would give this shinigami time to make good on her plan. Just as she had concluded that to herself she felt an unholy surge of power. She was just in time to see what looked like a cero blast into the ground, shaking the very rooftop she stood on. She rose her hand to protect her eyes from the wind the blast had caused.
‘Was that a cero?’ she asked to herself mentally. She had only seen a cero in a book before now. Someone of her level would not be dispatched to deal with a Gillian should one ever appear. It certainly fit the description. But with some alterations. It was only then that it began to occur to her. Perhaps these were not merely powerful hollow. But they didn’t look like the menos grande so that meant…!
She found her hand clutch her sword instinctively. Her ally would very likely need her help after all. That was if the other one was not already dead, it was too early to be certain. The surge of power had momentary disorientated her sense, but, perhaps that flicker was indeed her ally.
She then noticed the ‘girl’ get swatted aside. Things were looking a little grim at this point. She observed the banter. Hopefully the girl was not bluffing, and this was all according to some crude plan. After all planning to get hit didn’t seem like much of a plan to her. Especially since they had no idea of this hollows abilities yet. Slowly she drew her sword, holding it outward with her left hand she kept her form loose and ready to spring. The moment she saw an opening that hollow would find himself of the best weight loss programme he’d ever been a part of.
Aya was shaken by the impact though not dead yet, her limbs were heavy and blood was dropping into her eyes. This hollow was certainly strong, even a seated officer like her never encountered this kind of power before and this would be a perfect moment to see if she was truly an Anzu. Cleaning the blood from her eyes, she would stand up to look up at the hollow then look at the other two shinigami. From what she saw, the girl she met first looked like she was going in alone while the newcomer would wait in reserve. Aya wondered what both of them were up to, no doubt the purple Adjuchas would be as strong as its colleague or even stronger so why aren't they attacking together. Aya looked up to see the green Adjuchas watching the other fight but then it turned its attention back to her, it pointed a finger towards the building she was in.
This was a signal for the shinigami to clear her way outside, she would run through the hole only to be thrown forward due to a shock wave created by a cero shot at the building. Her enemy was laughing again, it thought it was toying with the shinigami or something, its ego was certainly big. Since she could no longer just use her unreleased zanpakuto to block off the cero, Aya decided to release it. "Sora no ue de kagayakimasu soshite raito o misete, Yoruhoshi!" she cried and silver light begins to shine in every direction until it deviouses two times. Instead of one sword, there are two identical that look lightly different then the sealed version now. Both swords become a bit shorter, 1.2 m now. The sword's hilt curves a bit and the silver wire can be extended up to 50 cm max.
Yoruhoshi was her pride and everything, the zanpakuto that earned her a seat in the 13th division was fully released and now the hollow will see that shinigami are not to be taken lightly. Aya concentrated on her muscles that began to move on their own, with a simple shunpo she was leveled again with the Adjuchas who would slash its claws right and left then again with a fury while a cero was forming in front of its mouth, it hoped the shinigami wouldn't have time to notice while having to dodge and block its claws but it was wrong. Ayas mastery of speed was giving her the opportunity to see all this, she used both of her zanpakuto to block those attacks and even went further with her wires. Using wires on Yoruhoshi the shinigami wrapped them around the hollows legs then she would shunpo to the side tripping the beast then used the momentum and the wires to launch the hollow at a building bellow.
Adjuchas would snore as it tripped from the shinigamis move, the cero would be shot out at the sky not hitting anything and while falling the hollow tried to balance and use airwalking again, it barely managed that and almost crashed into the building but Aya would appear with a shunpo below it, she swung her left zanpakuto at its left arm severing it totally. The Adjuchas would squeak in pain, it would kick and slash at the shinigami who dealt it such a hit with furry though Aya would easily dodge them as rage would take over the beast. She raised her right Yoruhoshi into the air then slashed it at its right arm also severing it like the other one, now she thought the hollow was done for but it looked like a cero was forming while she attacked.
Aya was lucky once more to have noticed it though at the last moment she blocked it with her left zanpakuto sending her backwards at a wall which would stop her movements. Something was happening with the hollow again, she could feel it, she looked at it and saw how fast its arms was regenerating, both arms were growing before her eyes. Soon both arms would grow into their original state only to make her speechless, so this was this hollows another ability. They were on ground now, no need to go up again she thought however the place they were now was not that spacey, buildings were on all sides with occasional trees for aesthetic purposes. If the hollow kept to its strategy soon there will be much more space to fight in.
With a distance of only at 30 m to each other, the Adjuchas would form cero from its mouth, then it would point its finger towards her. Yet again, the hollow would only use cero as she got used to it and its casting requirements she would run on the right side along the building which were now getting hit using cero, all the wood and paper were flying around thanks to that attack and yet no cero would hit the shinigami. Unfortunately while running she almost tripped on large piece of wood destabilizing her for a moment which was enough for the hollow to appear before her with sonido then kicked at her stomach sending Aya at another wall which was almost smashed. Another cero followed up almost immediately and she could only cross both Yoruhoshi together to block it, the cero dissipated.
Green Adjuchas would see what happened there with its cero and raised its eyebrows. "Nice move Shinigami but you won't be lucky with this one." it laughed while a big cero, much bigger than any she had seen from this enemy formed on its fingers. Aya could feel the spiritual pressure radiating from it, this was no joke a definitely a strongest cero so far. Deciding that it was time to use Yoruhoshis ability she would say "San ken Tsuki" this ability lets both of her zanpakuto scatter into two color starlike powder leaving only the handles, one zanpakuto turns silver and the other golden. She would send both powders to meet the hollows cero which caused a huge explosion and a shock wave though it didn't effect her. It seems like Yoruhoshi canceled the cero with almost no effort leaving the hollow afraid, afraid and angry at the shinigami.
Kuroi would manage a quick glance at the other shinigami, the one who decided to fight alone. She was amazed for a moment at the power of the girl's zanpakuto. She remember seeing the girl around the thirteenth division, if she was not mistaken. She was also led to believe that she was a seated shinigami, unlike Kuroi. Kuroi would rank up to become that strong too, she was positive that the girl had much experience with this before. She would quickly return her attention to the Adjuchas that she was personally fighting. Kuroi hoped that the other girl would not take to offense her lack of use of a name or Kuroi personally telling the girl to back up. If she was, then sorry and shit. She had to do this to help them both. She would glance to where the girl has taken herself to, the top of a building.
The Adjuchas would come towards her at a decent speed, she barely had time to react to it's power. She had time to dodge before it was too late, and she took the opening. Throwing herself to the side in a roll upon the ground seemed to work. She would raise herself from her roll, slightly brushing dirt off her uniform. She would keep a hand resting upon the hilt of her zanpakuto, as if ready to attack if it decided to come towards her again. It seemed to watch her for what felt forever, although she knew it was not. It was time for her to take her little plan into action. She would place herself around 3 to 4 meters away from the Adjuchas. She could not let herself get placed too far back, as her little plan would not reach this Adjuchas. The damn thing was big, and it was true that she did not well know the abilities of the monster. She was quite positive that what she was about to try would work though. She let a smirk come across her features.
She readied herself, preparing to launch her little 'plan'. She hoped in everything that this would work and if it did not... Well she didn't think her allies would think too highly of her. Kuroi was surprised at this point that none of the court guard squads had come through to help with the Adjuchas. She was certain more allied would come. Ah well, they would all have to manage on their own, she supposed. Kuroi was ready for this though and she would attack with all her might if this worked. She would thrust her hand forward, beginning to gather reiatsu in her palm. This should not take her long to cast, she thought to herself. She had her hand raised and pointed at the Adjuchas before her. The ball of white light would burst into her palm as a result of her gathering of reiatsu. As it began to cast she would shout the incantation out for all to hear. "Thirteen glowing orbits of ravens, freeze the murky waters of blindness! Ye lord, mask of truth and temperance, shed the glow of your eyes on the empty night! Bakudo no Juusan: Akaruishiro!" Her voice spoke loud as for everyone within range to hear. She was near positive that this had worked.
Kuroi smirked, now watching the Adjuchas look around helplessly. She was sure it was blinded now. "What did you do to me, shinigami. Did you think that will stop me?" the Adjuchas would say, once more trying to intimidate her. She wouldn't be easily intimidated. Did she think it would stop him completely? No. Did she think it would help her and the other girl fight him? Yes. For a short time at least. "Oi, Lady up there. I could use a little bit of assistance now. He can't see but it won't last forever. Use your strongest attacks against him so we can try to bring him down." she would call to the girl upon the roof. She hoped that the girl was not mad at her, for the lack of name and for telling her to back out for her own safety. She would clear that up later, once they defeated these bastards. Kuroi would place a hand upon her zanpakuto, ready to draw it to strike with the girl alongside her.

Masami stood alert, watching bother enemies as they fought her allies. She kept a careful eye on the green one, whose destructive power could not be ignored. Were they to get unlucky a blast could hit them, she doubted they could still be okay after that. She would have to be quick to dodge it too. She eyed the remains of the building that was demolished on his first attack that caught her attention. She momentarily wondered if she even could dodge it.
She shifted her attention back to the purple hollow, who concerned her by having yet to reveal its powers. Clearly, this was a sign of confidence of some sort. It did seem to possess the advantage in the fight so far, a fact which kept her in her loose fighting stance just waiting for that instance of opportunity. She could feel it approaching. The moment her ally began the chant she knew the time to strike was imminent. She didn’t even wait for her ally to tell her now before she was leap in a flip over the hollow. As she had her back the earth and hollow below she saw the flash. Spell successful, or so she had place her life on the assumption it was.
Her body twisted a she fell allowing her to see her quarry before she landed upon him. He was weak and disorientated now; this blow would decide this fight, one way or the other. Just as she was able to slice its mask into two, a hand came from her right side. But her motion was set, she would just have to take it. Her blade sliced into the hollows face, but her being knocked aside dragged her place across the right side of its face. She quickly found herself colliding into a wall, whilst a howling of pain erupted from the hollow. Though in pain she forced herself quickly to her feet. Her strike had carved out an eye. Blood poured from the now vacant socket landing in a pool on the floor. She would not allow their opportunity any waste. It seemed though blind, its spiritual senses were enough to detect them still, if only somewhat. But there were two of them now. It could not freely block them both, and right now it seem to be nearly completely incapacitated due to pain.
She flashed forward behind the hollow who was still howling in pain. She aimed a slash for it’s leg, intending on grounding it when a fist came swinging for her again. She leapt back barely in time her blade draping across the fist as it past resulting in a new flow of blood from the monster. The opportunity was not going to waste it seemed. She alone had already done damage to the hollow. While it was not down and out just yet it was surely well on its way. It was only then she noticed the blood on the floor. She watched in silence alarm as the pool of blood from her initial attack rippled and bubbled. It began to rise up as though it were alive. As it began to take shape she felt a claw tear into her right arms.
She leapt back instantly as her own blood trickled to the floor. The wound was nothing serious, but it would weaken her arm for now. She gritted her teeth as the stinging pain coursed through her being. She followed from her arm up to where she had came from. Only to see a claw on the floor. It was clawing its way back towards the hollow. She looked back towards the moving pool of blood only to see something else.
It was one of the others. Another one of the six hollows that had already been slain. They were a part of this guys all along. She looked back at him to check for any other wounds. But now the picture was indeed becoming clear. She saw the wound on his arm heal rapidly. Fortunately his eyes had yet to return. Hopefully it would not. She had heard of regeneration being a power found in powerful hollow, but it truly had to be seen to be understood. It was a power unlike anything else. Now they had to fight the hollow and its new minion. She relinquished her hold on her wounded arm. She was left handed anyway.
“I’ll dispatch the small fry” she called out to her ally “Try to think of a way of killing him with your kido, without drawing too much blood” she finished. It was obvious, but it was best said all the same. She could only hope her ally was more versatile than she herself was.
The hollow looked nervous now that its cero was blown away by this shinigami, just in case it tried the same trick again just to get the same effect once more. Aya jumped on a nearby roof to get a better view at the hollow, it was looking at her powder but then noticed her location change. Adjuchas decided to jump up on the roof opposite to her and to get away from the shikai but unfortunately for it Aya directed both powders to follow and surround it. Both powder was gaining on the Adjuchas who tried not to panic, using a sonido it appeared on the roof while still leaving both powders 10 m behind then it pointed a finger towards the shinigami. This was yet another attempt at destroying the shinigami and she knew what was coming and so avoided it easily with a shunpo bringing her just 10 m before the Adjuchas.
Failing with cero the hollow was desperate, while it pondered on what else to do it began to move away from her, both powder was gaining on it once again until it caught up. The Adjuchas was surrounded at all sides by this mythical bright powder, it looked at it then tried to slash the thing with its claws but to no avail. Slashing the powder made it even worse for nails on the claws would be cut away, realizing there was no way to escape fate, the Adjuchas surrendered and its will broke. Further more looking at this powder made its eyes worse and worse until it could see no more, the hollow screeched. Aya ordered both powders to cut it, it flew at the beast and with each touch would cut up its flesh until nothing would remain. Her zanpakuto did it, it cleaned the sins this hollow committed allowing all souls eaten the chance to be reborn somewhere.
Now there was just one more hollow remaining, she looked towards the way her colleagues were fighting but a building was blocking the view. Aya returned both powders to solid state back into shikai, two swords appeared once again then she began to jump from roof to roof trying to get nearer towards the battlefield. Aya concentrated her efforts into detecting reiatsu, this showed her more signatures then there should be, where did they come from. She increased her speed to get there faster, both shinigami she saw were still alive but they will surely need some help. Finally she made it to the roof of a building that blocked the view earlier, from here she could see them fight. It looked like the Adjuchas was having trouble seeing but then again it had more minions.
Aya could hear one of the shinigami say that she will take out the smaller ones and the other would do something with the big one, not that she didn't trust this plan that would leave one shinigami with 1 on 1 with the hollow but it was blind for now. A blind hollow was a big chance to finish it off but then she heard something else “Try to think of a way of killing him with your kido, without drawing too much blood” said one of the shinigami. So there was something with its blood, this made her decide not to go rashly about it. She quickly jumped from the roof just to land on a small frog like hollow and dispatched it with a single blow on its head. She was 20 away from the Adjuchas and 5 m away from the new shinigami that came in after their fight started. "Hi, I am Aya Anzu of the 13th division. What can I can you tell me about this hollow?" she introduced herself to the girl.
