A spirit, that explained a lot about things he had seen prior. ’Another piece to the puzzle’ he mentally commented as he nodded at her explanation. He narrowed his eyes when she laughed at his ignorance but before he could comment she had run off, rounding a corner into another alley. Inwardly he sighed, he would let that slide since time was an issue. Thus after a moment he began his pursuit.
It didn’t take long, following the soul reaper, till Masaru saw a familiar sight. It looked to be an exact replica of the soul reaper he had been following, except for the clothing which he recognized the girl had been wearing before the attack. The replica simply laid there, and if the young advent had not just learned what it truly was he would have assumed it was a dead body. ’This must be what she called a gigai.’ he quietly noted. He watched patiently, waiting for the young woman to return to the body.
Now that they were stopped, if not momentarily, his forced his thoughts on what to do next. He still had dozens of questions on his mind but he knew that they were supposed to find a place to rest. ”Wait here for a moment.” he plainly stated as he walked back to the major street. The sun had faded enough that buildings were the only visible illumination, but Masaru could probably walk the streets with his eyes closed anyway. Noting the location he called out over his shoulder,”Yeah there is a café just down the street.” Turning around he waited at the mouth of the alley.
OOC:Sorry about the erratic posting, my week has been really hectic.
