Appearance: Koru has short blond hair which hangs down to his eyes. If it's not trimed then his hair completely covers his eyes. He has light brown eyes, and thin eyebrows. He is eight-teen but appears to be the age of seven. He has a very small and somewhat light body which makes it easy for others to knock him around, but hard for them to hit.
Though he doesn't appear to be, he is really athletic, and was athletic for his age when he died at seven. He has a six pack, not a rock hard one though like most athletes. He wears the usual shinigami uniform, and carries his blade in it's sheeth.
Alignment: Neutral Good
History: Koru had a almost normal life. Like other kids his age he had friends, went to school, went outside and played games. He didn't like to eat his vegitables, and only enjoyed eating sweets. The only thing he didn't have was a loving family. They made sure he went to school, and allowed him to go outside, but only because they wanted to be alone. They fed him, but not properly and allowed him to eat what he wanted.
To a child this was a perfect family, but Koru didn't see it like that. He saw that other kids parents actually spent time with their children, and took them out places. All his parents ever did was scream, and make weird noises in their bedroom. So to keep him happy he got his parents permission to join his schools soccer team. He was the best player on his team, and brought his team to the finales. This made him happy...almost happy. He seen that the other kids parents were in the stadiums and his wasn't. He felt outraged, and would sometimes kick the ball so hard it would knock the goalie into the net and fracture some of their ribs.
As the days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months he had begun to become a bit heartless. Yes he had friends, but he had no one to go home to and show his medals and trophy's to. One day he had asked his parents to please come to a game, and they both just yelled at him. "What else do you want from us!? We let you go outside, we give you a home, bathe you, feed you, give you a chance for education! Just leave us alone!" his mother would yell at him. This hit him hard, so the day of the game he played horrible. He hadn't scored any points for his team, and was giving up hope.
That's when he heard his name being called from the side lines. He looked over to see his parents actually on the sidelines rooting him on. He felt a sudden burst of energy, and found the stregnth to carry his team on through the game not allowing his opponent to score anymore points. Because of this they had won the entire series. He ran over to his parents after the game, to show them his medal he had just won. They both looked at him and smiled "Hey how about we go out for a celebration?" his father said "You can do and get anything you want from the amuesment park" his mother added on. Koru just nodded saying yeah, and hoping in the car to go.
That day, that night was the best he had ever had. He was able to laugh and play with his parents. He had cotten candy, and all other kinds of foods, sweets, and drinks. He had gotten on all the rides in the park, and played all the games. Then finally the last ride came. They all had got onto a cart on a ferries wheel, and began to go to the top. "So did you have fun today?" his mother would ask. He would nod smiling with a big grin. His father would reach over saying here you go handing Koru his juice. Not expecting anything Koru would drink it...."Mommy....daddy...the juice......it tastes...wei-" the last thing he saw were the evil grins on his parents faces.
After about ten years he was found in the spirit world by a shinigami, and they saw that he had a pretty large appatite. He was then enrolled in the academy, and graduated in a year joining his first squad. He had something new to now live for...but the thought of his parents still linger. Back of his mind the thought of vengence lingers.
