Ok I've got three questions to do with Shinigami.

1. Can you have a Shinigami who like Komamura isn't quite human, I've got a Shinigami OC who's got wings but no Zanpaktou. Not saying Im gonna give up a Zanpaktou just never got around to making one. Would it be possible to have wings for that Shini as a natural occurrence or is that a no no at the moment?

2. Can my Shinigami have a mechanical arm or would that have to be RP'd out and involve the 12th squad?

3. My stock Shini was a character I RP'd from Human to Shinigami. I sadly can't really RP him as a human on this site because the character is basically a DND druid rip and It just doesn't fit with the fullbring but I had a ritual where he became a Raven Human hybrid to fight that he retained in his Shinigami life. Is that possible to gain through a quest or a no no? Or only gained if I go through the Human to Shinigami route.

1) You can have a komamura but not wings, nothing that gives them natural advantage against other shinigami.

2) Yes it can and does need 12th or 4th squad for it. You can have it in history to start with or RP it out.

3) Raven human wouldn't be allowed but you can be substitute shinigami.

I have a few more questions about inventions for the 12th squad and the limitations. Not asking for set limits and all of this inventions are rough idea's that probably need quite a lot of clarification at this point in time but if I was going to do that I would submit a customs. I just don't want to make an idea and then get really pissy because you say, no not gonna fit with how we want the site to work and obviously later on I will be submitting proper customs. I also want the staffs opinion on it more in a sense of, making inventions that may be good for rp purposes, so maybe for example if I make a regenerative serum then other characters may come and ask me to use it and I can be an asshole about it or nice about it. So the idea's are as follows.

1. A mechanical arm that will eventually be able to block Sealed Zanpaktou from Shinigami/Arrancar and Unmasked Vizard. I'm aware on an increase in points here. I also want the arm to have a few attatchmants such as Kido, Poison and Gas shells shot from the arm. The Poison and Gas shells are different, the gas is harmless and just a distraction so to speak and the Poison is not so much, Bang 'Oh dear Im poisoned....blergh' more "I'm Poisoned damn, I can see pretty white spots that are distracting or shit I can sense Reiatsu but it feels like a cat instead of a Shinigami.' Although the attachments will be separate customs with a lot more detail. I was also thinking of having a wing like blade attached to the arm.

2. Poisons......What self respecting 12th division member hasn't made at least one of these. I mean they're fun, they're deadly(Not in my case) and they're useful. I have several idea's for Poisons that have very specific effects and not much else. The effects Im also thinking only last for about three posts because otherwise the Poisons make a fighting and Rping less fun, essentially spoiling it for the site. The Poison idea's I have are, A Reiatsu Sensing scrambler: Essentially this poison will mess with a persons ability to sense Reiatsu. Now if I used an obvious form of administration say a needle shot directly into their gluteous maximus(Your Butt Cheeks) then yeh they'd know about it and probably just ignore their rp senses. If, however, I where to slip it into a Shinigami's tea or send one of my eventual subordinates to be eaten by a hollow and said subordinate is tanked up on that poison then the hollows gonna eat it and be none the wiser. Another Idea I had for a poison is one that causes the victims perception of Colour and Light to be reversed. So, If I took the poison at nightime I would be able to see perfectly, if I took it during the day It would be pitch black. Someone flashes me with a bright light it just looks like pure darkness someone, however, shoves a pitch black bandage over my eyes it might cause a tinsy wincy bit of retinal burning and scarring and maybe cause eyes to catch fire. My third poison idea is a basic but comical incapacitent that causes stomach and bowel evacuation 12 posts after administered. Yes Highly immature and childish but I offset that with my chain smoking. I was also thinking of a love potion that works for three posts making the character fall in love with mine. Of course they would still try to kill me if that was their original intention and no it would have virtually no effect over than what I find to be a comical situation. The last one isn't really very likely I'll use because its a little bit of a point waster.

My Next idea is probably a no but I wanted to ask anyway and thats. The creation of Mod Souls, I noticed this site doesn't have any. I wouldn't mind if I was able to create in secret to soul society a small collection of basic mod souls. I.e I put the pill in a teddy bear because they cant control a full sized gigai or maybe a mechanical raven or something and it then has one ability. Said ability may be a fast movement per thread, or breathing fire or something basic and generally undamaging but still if used properly very useful in combat. I'm not expecting much of this one and if I where to do it probably wouldn't be until my character reaches level 20 or above if that even happens.

Explosives! Ok, I like bombs and I'm aware that bombs may well be something that your not to keen on so again I'm not going to be heart broken if its a no, but I was thinking of a few small mines that could be created. For example a mine that is specifically designed to blow up when someone with a power level above level 15 walks into a room. It won't kill them, nor will it blow a limb off unless the rper of the powerful character doesn't care but it may still cause them damage. Or mines attuned to the reiatsu of each race. Now this may be a no no because of course their potential could be a lot higher than just a little bit of damage and if you've got 10 of the things set up at a doorway and they all go boom at once then yeh. It could well kill someone of level 15 or above if they can't move out of the way. I was also thinking of just having explosives for rp reasons. Say the Shinigami raid hueco mundo and my Shini gets attatched to the raid squad so he can just blow the walls and defences up and generally be a real pain in the ass, those explosives cant damage a PC but maybe maim the occassional weak NPC.

Mechanical Creations. Now here is where I'm not too sure myself if its even in the spirit of bleach, I say Mechanical Creations. The arm is going to be fueled by my Shinigamis own reiatsu if you will. Basically attatched to their body and their body is the battery, however, maiking robots with batteries is a whole different kettle of fish because of their raw potential. Now, I would say that I wouldn't mind making a basic animal or humanoid robot as a template and then having to invent and invest points in upgrades for them and being limited to one or two because well, An army of robots although I would very much like that especially if they're all girly and own everyone as well is not going to be allowed unless my Shinigami is just incapable of fighting by himself, however, I wonder if a single robot or maybe one or two is acceptable.

GM Foodz.....Ok not GM Foodz, but Genetic Modification. Basically Yay or Nay simple as, not really many ideas that I want on this site because they would upset the balance but if I come up with an idea then it would be nice to know if its possible.

Regenerative Serum. A serum that works on a similar basis to Mayuri's in the anime but because that could easily tip the balance between my character and another or the Shinigami and everyone else, I was planning to make it something that is available to every race, in that several copies of the recipe will be lost or stolen by the other races. This in turn means that everyones got it, however, the difference is instead of the instant regeneration of a limb. It will regenerate a limb over a set time. The time limits I had in mind where, 1 Week Real life time, 2 Weeks real life time, a month real life time, or two months real life time. Small time periods again I don't mind just makes it better but, I would also like to say that I'm making something that regenerates limbs but I don't really want it to be applicable to use in combat because that just gives my character as the creator of it an unfair advantage.

Now we move onto one of my Zanpaktou Idea's

My Shinigami is either going to specialize in Mechanics or Biological Modification, I haven't decided/not sure if the latter is allowed. So leaning more towards the former anyway because I find it more interesting in real life so I would know more about it. I feel that it may be appropriate to have a Zanpaktou that gives my character essentially more mechanical additions to his body and then the Bankai.....well I'm gonna have to work on that one. These modifications will be less limited as to the arm itself and other mechanics because it is ultimately his zanpaktou. I was wondering what would the staff think of a mechanical based Zanpaktou. I'm not entirely sure that it would fit with the whole Zanpaktou idea but then I don't know how the staff want the site to progress.

My final question is aswell, Zanpaktou Modifications Yay or Nay? Similar to what Kurotsuchi did with his in that he made it explode if it attacks him.

1) This would make the most sense as being a part of your shikai, as you hint at later. However even if it is not I think it is still possible. Making it a part of your shikai is the best bet, because you can then use weapon points on it, otherwise there would probably be heavy point conversions necessary.

2) This is probably not what you want to do with your poisons, but the easiest way to do it within the site system would be to make them a custom kido spell, that way you can spend spell points into it. I will have to speak with Abumi and Shunzu to see how we want to deal with this type of thing. As for the good news, I think all of the poisons you mentioned would be interesting and definitely possible, some to a greater level than you have put here.

3) The creation of mod souls like you are stating would fall under our 'Pet system' that is in development. Basically allows a kind of pet of sorts (different for every race and character) that for now will be mostly for RP and use against NPCs. In the future it can possibly be used against PCs as well.

4) We have no problem with explosions, and I think there are definitely ways for you to make it work, but you have to make an effort to fit these things into the system we have. Along the same lines as the poisons, I will have to check with the admins to see how we want to treat this, if it can indeed be outside and existing area.

5) Once again refer to #2-4. This could apply to he pet system, although pets will probably be one per person, and it seems like you want an army of these things.

6) Shinigami and hollows cannot be genetically modified in the traditional sense, given that they are no longer human. And overall I cannot see a way this could be balanced, so I will have to say no on this. If you want an effect, you can create it through your shikai perhaps, or using kido.

7) Not necessary to make it for all races, especially since we don't really have money or items in the traditional sense. I think this could be allowed with the right limits and restrictions, especially for shinigami who are not flesh and bone anyways. Once again though, you need to figure out how this would fit into the system; see all the previous answers.

8) I think having your sword be mechanical in nature is probably the best way to accomplish all of the other ideas you have, but atm I am unsure how it would work out, need more explanation and such.

9) Definitely possible, would be in the form of a weapon ability or power

That's so much easier than trying to argue a case for each one in the C-Box, as for the Mechanical arm, I really want it to be kinda like an additional weapon linked to my characters Hakuda skills in the sense of, its his version of hand to hand, so he will eventually have enough strength in his own body and his arm if possible to like punch through walls and stuff. You see my interpretation of the 12th squad is that they don't really focus on hand to hand much and generally replace it with science if you catch my meaning. Arguably that could be said for all specialisms but theirs no science one.
